About Marcus.
Marcus began his journey in the healing arts in 1989 through the dedicated study of two internal martial arts: Hsing-Yi Chuan (Heart-Mind Boxing) and Bagua Zhang (Eight Trigrams). These disciplines unknowingly laid the foundation for understanding pain and trauma through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), especially the Five Element Theory.
He later formalized his path by earning a degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Eastern School of Acupuncture & Traditional Medicine in New Jersey in 2014, where he also served as a professor and clinical supervisor. In 2018, he completed a two-year advanced herbal program, followed by an intensive one-year training in Daoist Shamanic Herbal Medicine in 2023 under Sifu Jeffrey Yuen—an 88th-generation Daoist priest and renowned Chinese Shaman.
Marcus continues to blend healing and martial arts (including Qigong), creating a grounded and sacred space for others to explore, activate, and deepen their own healing journeys—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
